“Five Feet Apart” (Lionsgate), a generally engaging young-adult romantic drama about the redeeming power of sacrificial love, is aimed, with the precision of a heat-seeking missile, at 17-year-old girls.

The Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston “strongly and unconditionally” rejects the state attorney general’s assertion that “the diocese is not wholly committed to the protection of children.”

Worn marble steps of Holy Stairs to be uncovered for public to climb

For the first time in 300 years, the marble steps of the Holy Stairs will be free from the thick wooden panels installed in 1723 to protect the stairs and left uncovered for the public.
