Through a network of volunteers from churches, schools, universities and other organizations, the goal of the Archdiocese of Baltimore’s Grief Ministry is to accompany families who have lost a loved one to violence.

If you are troubled by the tragic loss of life in Baltimore City, and wondering how you can help, please consider volunteering for a new ministry the Archdiocese is creating to offer support and healing to families in Baltimore City who have lost a loved one to violence. In conjunction with other agencies and nonprofits, the Archdiocese is launching a Grief Ministry through which parish communities can provide assistance, such as prayers, sympathy notes, food, baby items and other support as needed to families.
