Through a network of volunteers from churches, schools, universities and other organizations, the goal of the Archdiocese of Baltimore’s Grief Ministry is to accompany families who have lost a loved one to violence.
If you are troubled by the tragic loss of life in Baltimore City, and wondering how you can help, please consider volunteering for a new ministry the Archdiocese is creating to offer support and healing to families in Baltimore City who have lost a loved one to violence. In conjunction with other agencies and nonprofits, the Archdiocese is launching a Grief Ministry through which parish communities can provide assistance, such as prayers, sympathy notes, food, baby items and other support as needed to families. An additional aspect of the ministry will be to create online memorials of loved ones. Volunteer training will be provided. To volunteer and for more information, please see below.
