Rooted in our Lord Jesus Christ, we act on behalf of Archbishop William E. Lori by encouraging vocations to the priesthood and diaconate, providing meaningful ongoing formation and support for clergy to be holy and effective for the people of God, and ensure loving care for our senior priests.

Rev. James D. Proffitt serves as the Vicar for Clergy for the Archdiocese of Baltimore, overseeing the Division of Clergy Personnel and acting on behalf of the Archbishop and Bishops in matters concerning our clergy.

Read More Disability Training Workshop: Training and Equipping Catholic Faith Formation Leaders to Advance Disability Inclusion Join us for a two-day in-person workshop on disability training for Catholic formation leaders by Dr. Mirian Ofonedu, PhD, LCSW-C, the director of training at the Maryland Center for Developmental Disabilities at Kennedy Krieger Institute. She is an Associate Professor at the University of Maryland, Baltimore and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health’s Department of Mental Health. Dr. Ofonedu is a psychologist, a licensed clinical social worker and a fellow of the American Psychological Association. Her training, clinical and research work spans across two decades.
