On April 22, 2023, the Archdiocese of Baltimore’s Shine the Light Gala celebrated our Catholic schools while also conferring newly revitalized archdiocesan Medals of Honor on members of our community for their outstanding contributions and services. These medals recognized individuals who embody the spirit of Archbishop Lori’s pastoral letter, A Light Brightly Visible 2.0, while contributing to and strengthening the five areas of the archdiocesan mission statement: education, evangelization, liturgy, service, and stewardship.
More than 400 guests at our first in-person Gala since 2019 enjoyed a fantastic evening of food, wine, fellowship and incredible performances by students and alums alike.
We are deeply grateful to our sponsors whose support raised roughly $930,000 and to our guests who helped us raise an additional $25,609 for the archdiocese’s Partners In Excellence (PIE) Scholarship Program.
