Archbishop Lori’s Homily: Installation of Fr. Uju, 5th Sunday of Lent

I’m happy to be with all of you today and on this occasion to install Father Uju as your pastor, assisted in this role by Father Obinna. Let’s express our thanks to these great priests who have already become a part of your parish community and who are dedicating themselves to lead St. Francis Xavier, the oldest Black Catholic parishes in the United States, into a future full of hope. Thank you, dear brothers!

Archbishop Lori’s Remarks – Dinner in Honor of Msgr. Andrew Baker

Let me just say, Msgr. Baker, what an honor it has been to work closely with you, and how indebted all of us are for your leadership in priestly formation. Most of all, you model in your own life what seek to instill in the lives of future priests, and for that reason the work you have done this past decade will live on here at the Mount and far beyond, ad multos annos!
