The archbishop of Washington said recent public comments by President Trump and others about Baltimore and the responses those remarks have generated “have deepened divisions and diminished our national life.”

The number of abortions occurring annually in South Carolina continues to fall, a trend welcomed by advocates who credit pro-life legislation and increased public awareness for the decline.
