More Blessed Teresas, please

Blessed Teresa of Kolkata was once asked if it would not be better for her to spend her time lobbying for political change than caring for those already at death’s door. Her response was “You go do that. I have been called to this ministry.”
In his Sept. 19 interview, Pope Francis is not suggesting a change in doctrine. He is simply suggesting we need more balance to “hate the sin, love the sinner.” He is saying he would like to see increased efforts towards pastoral care of homosexuals and women in crisis pregnancies (e.g., Rachel’s House, Birthright, etc.) He would like to see more Blessed Teresas.
