Archbishop’s Annual Appeal launches Feb. 8

By Catholic Review Staff
The Archbishop’s Annual Appeal, a fundraising effort to support parishes, schools, Catholic Charities, and numerous other ministries throughout the Archdiocese of Baltimore, will officially launch Feb. 8-9.
The theme of this year’s appeal is “Be Protectors of God’s Gifts,” and is taken from Pope Francis’ inaugural homily at his installation as pope.
This year’s goal is $7.87 million. Last year, more than 30,000 donors contributed more than $7.8 million – surpassing the $7.4 million goal.
“I invite you to prayerfully reflect upon your participation in this year’s Archbishop’s Annual Appeal and your ability to be not only a protector of God’s gifts, but one who shares with others the abundant blessings he has given us,” Archbishop Lori said in a letter to parishioners.
