Archbishop Lori announces clergy assignments in September 2014

Archbishop William E. Lori announced the following clergy assignments:

Pastor
Reverend Justin Ratajczak, O.F.M., Conv., to pastor of Church of the Annunciation Parish in Rosedale. Effective Aug. 21.
 
Conventual Franciscan Father Justin Ratajczak, 65, became pastor of Church of the Annunciation in Rosedale Aug. 21. Born in Baltimore, Father Ratajczak joined the Order of Friars Minor Conventual and was ordained a priest in 1977. He has ministered in Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania and Maryland, serving as parochial vicar of St. Clement Mary Hofbauer in Baltimore 1997-2002. Prior to his assignment to Annunciation, he was pastor of All Saints Parish in Boswell, Pa.
Reverend Honest Munishi, C.S.Sp., to pastor of St. Edward Parish in Baltimore. Effective Sept. 1.
 
Spiritan Father Munishi, 50, became pastor of St. Edward in Baltimore Sept. 1. Born in Tanzania, he was ordained a priest in the Congregation of the Holy Spirit there in 2000. He ministered in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Tanzania and Zimbabwe before coming to the United States in 2011 to serve as associate pastor of a five-parish cluster in Arkansas, where he was assigned until August 2014.
Reverend Vincent Gluc, O.F.M., Conv., from Province Vocation Director to pastor of St. Clement Mary Hofbauer. Effective Aug. 1.
Conventual Franciscan Father Vincent Gluc,, 63, became pastor of St. Clement Mary Hofbauer, Rosedale, in August.
A native of Buffalo, New York, Father Gluc entered the Ellicott City-based novitiate of the Order of Friars Minor Conventual in 1969. Following seminary studies in Massachusetts and New York, he was ordained a Conventual Franciscan priest in Albany, N.Y. in 1979.
Father Gluc served as a religion teacher at Archbishop Curley High School in Baltimore from 1979 to 1982. He promoted vocations for his religious community from 1982 to 1985 before returning to Archbishop Curley to teach and work in the guidance department until 1992.
Father Gluc’s first parish assignment was in New Jersey as an associate pastor from 1992 to 1994. He was elected provincial chapter secretary for his religious community in 1994, serving until 1997.
Father Gluc ministered as an associate pastor of St. Casimir and St. Stanislaus parishes in Baltimore from 1997 until 2000. He then was an associate pastor in the Archdiocese of Atlanta until 2005 when he returned to Baltimore to serve as vocation director for the Conventual Franciscans, a position he held for nine years.

Reverend Thomas A. Morris, O.S.S.T., to associate pastor of Sacred Heart of Mary Parish in Graceland Park and St. Rita Parish in Dundalk. Effective Sept. 2.

Reverend Edward Szymanski from Health Care Chaplain for Howard County to retirement.
