We are called to be a light brightly visible, not to proclaim ourselves but to proclaim Christ Jesus as Lord.”

Thanks to your generosity, the 2026 Annual Appeal for Catholic Ministries, Lift Up Your Hearts: United in Hope and Service, has already raised more than $4.5 million, more than half of our $8 million goal!
The Appeal supports more than 100 essential ministries, enriching programs like Catholic Youth Sports and Camp G.L.O.W. and providing funding for scholarships that make Catholic education possible for so many families.
Together, as a family of faith, we serve Christ’s mission in our communities. Every ministry supported through the Appeal is a visible sign of God’s grace at work, bringing hope to and making a lasting difference in the lives of those we are called to serve.
We invite you to view the video to see how the Annual Appeal for Catholic Ministries is making a difference in our communities.

From Ash Wednesday through the journey toward Easter, these 40 days invite us to slow down, reflect, and return our hearts to what matters most.

As we enter the third week of Lent, the path may begin to feel quieter and more interior. The early momentum fades, but the invitation remains — to stay present, to stay faithful, and to let God continue His work within us.

This week, consider:
✨ Taking a few moments each day to examine your heart and notice where God’s grace has been present
✨ Reaching out to someone who may need encouragement, forgiveness, or simple kindness
✨ Spending time with a Gospel passage and asking what it reveals about who Christ is calling you to become

Lent isn’t about perfection — it’s about transformation.
Patient. Honest. Open to grace.

Keep walking. Easter is drawing nearer.

⏰ Friendly reminder: Daylight Saving Time begins tomorrow!

Before heading to bed tonight, remember to turn your clocks forward one hour so you don’t miss Mass in the morning.

Losing an hour of sleep might be tough — but gaining an hour of sunlight (and starting your Sunday with the Eucharist) is well worth it.

Set the clock. Say a prayer. See you at Mass.

In a new pastoral letter released Feb. 9, Archbishop William E. Lori of Baltimore takes the occasion of the nation’s 250th anniversary to address “a moment of grace and responsibility.” Catholic Review Editor Christopher Gunty talked with the archbishop about the motivation for the letter, which is subtitled, “Toward a Renewed Political Culture.” Archbishop Lori notes in the interview that the extreme polarization of the current political climate is painfully evident and that we need to find common ground to work for human dignity.
