Leadership Giving

The Lumen Christi Guild

The Lumen Christi Guild

The Lumen Christi Guild was created to recognize individuals that provide leadership support to the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal, to benefit more than 300 parishes, schools, organizations, agencies, and ministries throughout the Archdiocese of Baltimore and beyond.

The Lumen Christi Guild seeks members who desire to give witness to the Light of Christ in the world. Through their compassion, generosity, and leadership, Lumen Christi members help sustain the Church in carrying out her mission to bring Christ to people and people to Christ.

The Guild recognizes the unique history of the Archdiocese of Baltimore as the premiere See of the Roman Catholic Church in America. Created in 2002, Lumen Christi celebrates the inspired generosity and vision of clergy, religious, and lay individuals who came before us and nurtured the seeds of faith.

The Lumen Christi Guild seeks men and women who are the inheritors of this legacy and recognize their crucial role in supporting the mission of the Church today. Lumen Christi Guild members make leadership gifts to the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal beginning at the $1,000 level.

The Seton Circle

The Seton Circle of the Archdiocese of Baltimore of the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal is a dedicated network of generous and faithful Catholic Leaders. Inaugurated in 2005, the Seton Circle is inspired by the courageous life of Elizabeth Ann Seton, the first American Saint.

Through their commitment to the Annual Appeal, Seton Circle members stand shoulder to shoulder with clergy, religious, and lay people who are direct care-givers, those who give the better part of their lives in ministry and service. Seton Circle members make leadership gifts to the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal beginning at the $10,000 level.

The Sheperd's Guild

Shepherd's Guild Logo

The Archdiocese of Baltimore’s Shepherd’s Guild is a special group of generous leading Catholics who impact thousands of lives through their faithful stewardship. The Shepherd’s Guild was founded in 2006 by Cardinal William H. Keeler in celebration of his 50th anniversary of the priesthood.

The Shepherd’s Guild helps carry on the initiative started by Cardinal Keeler. Through member generosity, the tremendous works of the clergy and laity who came before by bringing Christ’s Gospel message of love to those in need is continued, as we celebrate and inspire the faith-filled generosity of today’s Catholics. Shepherd’s Guild members make leadership gifts to the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal beginning at the $50,000 level.
