I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to God for the charism of Fr. Giussani, and to express to all of you who share in that charism what a gift you are to the Church throughout the world, and here in this area.

Today, I want to thank all the healthcare professional who are taking part in this Mass for your expertise, your devoted service, and your strong faith.

Let us ask God the Father to pour out the Holy Spirit upon us, that we may be belong to Christ and in the Church belong to one another in Christ, and that our love might bring peace to the Church and thus overflow abundantly.

It helps you develop your gifts and talents as individuals but also trains you to be part of a team – how to be “One Body in Christ” – how to put your gifts and talents at the service of others and at the service of the Church.

The light that flows through us is not our own creation. It is neither our own goodness nor our eloquence that we are called to reflect.
