Tickets on sale for Handel Choir concert to benefit Murphy Initiative

The Handel Choir of Baltimore, with Melinda O’Neal conducting, will perform a concert Jan. 31 at 4 p.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Govans. The concert is a benefit for the Murphy Initiative for Justice and Peace, which honors the legacy of the late Bishop P. Francis Murphy.

Tickets are $25, $30 at the door.

Works by Mendelsson, Vaughan Williams and Randall Thompson will be featured. The church is located at 5502 York Road. For more information, telephone 410-319-9472.
