St. Joseph, Cockeysville, launches new website

St. Joseph, Cockeysville, parish and school have a new website, using a state-of-the-art content management system.

Michael Crowley, a St. Joseph parishioner and school parent, donated his time and resources to design and implement the system. He is the co-founder Baltimore Consulting, a Hunt Valley-based information technology firm.

“Parents have a real need for current and quick access to school information,” Crowley said in a statement. “Weather notifications, athletic events, school gatherings and interactions with school staff are all part of the academic experience, and the system being utilized should facilitate all of these.”

The website includes an interactive calendar, search features, detailed and targeted content and social media capabilities.

“We are very thankful to Mr. Crowley and his colleagues at Baltimore Consulting for their top-notch professionalism and generous donation of their talents to breathe some much-needed new life into our website,” Terrance Golden, principal of St. Joseph School, said in a statement.“With the new system, it will be much easier for our staff members to update news and events, so busy parents can get all the information they need in a timely and efficient manner. It looks awesome, too.”
