St. Gregory the Great, Baltimore, is kicking off a yearlong celebration of its 125th anniversary on Nov. 23.
Auxiliary Bishop Denis J. Madden is to attend the 10 a.m. Mass, which will feature a special liturgy, trumpeters and a horn section.
St. Gregory, which had its first Mass in 1884, will continue the celebration through November 2009.
