Second Amendment letter made no sense

To equate the right to bear arms under the Second Amendment to be the prime supporter of the right to life (James E. Dickinson letter, CR, July 30) is unbelievable. The carnage in Baltimore City, the opposition of the proliferation of guns by every police department in the country and common sense refute this idea. Please be careful to think carefully before printing letters that mislead our wonderful readers.
