My prayer is that your hearts will be filled with hope and expectation, that hope which does “not disappoint”, for indeed, in this holy season of Advent ‘the love of God is being poured into our hearts abundantly’ (Cf. Rom. 5:5), “as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ.”

As we give thanks for the ministry of Father Worgul and celebrate his installation, let us ask, through the loving intercession of Blessed Mary and good St. Joseph the blessing of Almighty God on this parish family, now and in the years ahead.

God is calling us, even amid this pandemic, even amid all our troubles, to shake off our torpor, to open our eyes to the gifts he pours out upon us, and to be united in love with one another in the life of Church.

Our sharing in Jesus’ victory over sin and death should bring us hope and joy, no matter how difficult or challenging the times may be.

As this important Mid-Year meeting comes to its conclusion, we are on the cusp of celebrating the Feast of Christ the King. If ever this feast day were more welcome and necessary, the year 2020 has to be it!

As this important meeting proceeds, dear brother Knights, please consider the importance of the beatification of our founder.
