More compliments for Father Lombardi

In the first article on the Year for Priests by Father Thomas R. Hurst, it is stated, “ … the priest offers the one perfect sacrifice of Christ when he celebrates the Eucharist. He speaks and acts in the person of Christ. At the same time, he must offer his whole life as a sacrifice through his service to God and God’s people.”

When I read that, I thought of Father Jack Lombardi and his priesthood in the time I knew him at Holy Family in Randallstown and at the Grotto of Lourdes in Emmitsburg. His love for the Eucharist is so strong that you can almost feel it at the time of consecration. How blessed we were to have witnessed this love for Christ and his people. May the Holy Spirit continue to bless Father Jack in all his works at his new parishes.
