Men in Black take on D.C. priests

The “Men in Black,” that fearsome basketball squad of priests and seminarians from the Archdiocese of Baltimore, will play the “DC Hood,” a team of priests and seminarians from Washington on March 2.

The game will take place at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C., at 1:30 p.m. The game promotes vocations, and ticket sales benefit the Office of Youth Ministry/CYO of the Archdiocese of Washington.

To attend, individuals must buy and present tickets for the 6 p.m. Wizards game that evening. Tickets can be ordered online at www.verizoncenter.com/cyo. For information about activities and dining facilities between games near the Verizon Center, contact Bill Anderson at banderson@washsports.com. The Verizon Center will be cleared between the games; doors reopen at 5 p.m. for the Wizards game.

For Baltimore fans, the Vocations Office has 100 free tickets, which will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. If interested in a ticket, e-mail aveveiros@archbalt.org or call 410-547-5302.
