Due to inclement weather, many in the archdiocese were unable to attend the funeral for Father Christopher M. Carney, who died Jan. 15.
To gather together and celebrate his life, a Month’s Mind Mass, offered a month after someone dies, will be celebrated at St. Michael the Archangel, Overlea, at 7 p.m. on Feb. 15.
In honor of Father Carney’s commitment to Catholic education, the parish of St. Michael is establishing an endowment in his name for the parish school.
