Knights of Fatima give awards

The Knights of Fatima honored those who serve their community at an awards luncheon on Jan. 26.

Although recipients do not need to be from Our Lady of Fatima, Baltimore, this year those honored are all parishioners.

Joseph Kelly was named firefighter of the year; he works out of Baltimore County’s Edgemere station. Maryland State Trooper Benjamin Neill II, from the Golden Ring barracks, was named officer of the year. The emergency medical technician of the year was Christopher Kram, who is with the Baltimore-Washington Thurgood Marshall Airport fire department, and the teacher of the year was Patricia Fendryk, who teaches at Our Lady of Fatima.
