A funeral Mass for Baltimore native Father Joseph E. Henry, a Jesuit, was offered May 9 at Madonna della Strada Chapel at the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania.
Father Henry died May 5 in Scranton. He was 82.
A Jesuit for 63 years, Father Henry entered the Novitiate of St. Isaac Jogues following his graduation in 1947 from Loyola Blakefield in Baltimore. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Sacred Theology from Woodstock College in Maryland.
