Fall Offertory – Take the Next Step

As a US Bishops’ Pastoral Letter on Stewardship affirms that, as Catholic stewards, “we receive God’s gifts gratefully, cultivate them responsibly, share them lovingly in justice with others, and return them with increase to the Lord.”  Indeed, through our faithful stewardship of the blessings He has bestowed, we become active participants in His plan and help to advance our archdiocesan mission of evangelization: to make missionary disciples of those we come to know.

Your support for your parish’s Offertory program, Take the Next Step, is one way you can help ensure that your parish has the means necessary to further this mission.

Your Offertory gifts are vital to the ongoing pastoral mission of your parish as they make it possible

  • for your pastor and his associates to bring your parish community together in joyous celebration of Mass and the Blessed Sacraments;
  • to preserve and maintain your parish church and other buildings in a manner worthy of a House of God;
  • to provide loving and passionate care for your parish’s retiring Clergy; and
  • to help fund caregiving ministries that serve those in your parish community possessing the least in resources.

The life of a Catholic steward models the life of Jesus. Accordingly, it is challenging and often difficult; yet intense joy comes to those who commit their lives to living by His example.  Please prayerfully consider how you might be able to advance your parish’s evangelizing mission with your gift or pledge in support of Offertory today.

Take the Next Step has been fantastic for our whole parish. It is a simple, effective and long-lasting way to secure donations for our future. We are grateful to the Archdiocese for helping us help ourselves!
