Almost all events submitted – if they are sponsored by a Catholic parish, school or other organization in the Archdiocese of Baltimore – will be featured in the online calendar.
A human monitor will approve submissions for posting.
Events submitted by the first of the month prior to the month of the event may be considered for the print edition of Catholic Review magazine (e.g., by Jan. 1 for publication in the February magazine). So that all entities in the archdiocese have a fair opportunity to be listed in the limited space in the print publication, entities will be limited to no more than two in each calendar month print edition. If more than two have been submitted, Catholic Review Media staff will decide which items to publish, at their discretion.

This one-day silent retreat will use poetry, Scripture, and other creative media to invite and deepen our meditations on what it means to love and to be loved, in the embrace of the Holy.
The retreat offers participants an opportunity to reflect on the wounds caused by their parents’ divorce or separation and to rediscover their deepest identity as beloved sons and daughters of God, created for and capable of great love.
Please feel warmly welcome to join us as we ponder these questions and experience various prayer forms, including Visio Divina (praying with a painting or image), Ignatian Contemplation (placing yourself in a Gospel passage), Centering Prayer (listening in silence), Video Divina (praying with a short film), and Art Journaling (praying with color).
While engaging with a broad range of these figures across the arc of Christianity, a significant portion of the program will unfold around the wisdom of Julian of Norwich, Henri Nouwen, and Br. David Steindl-Rast.
