Conference to explore the images of Christ

“Come, See, Investigate. Who Do You Say That I Am?” is the theme of the ninth annual Central Maryland Formation Day to be held March 10 at Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg.

The daylong event will open at 8 a.m. with registration, exhibits and continental breakfast. The keynote address will follow at 8:50 a.m. and will be delivered by Ruth Puls, director of the archdiocesan division of ministry formation and development.

The gospel choir from Transfiguration Catholic Community in Baltimore will be featured during the keynote and Bishop W. Francis Malooly, western vicar, will celebrate Mass.

Three sessions of workshops and a buffet lunch will round out the day, which will end at 3:30 p.m. Workshops will be offered for catechists, youth ministers, Catholic school personnel, parents and members of parish ministry teams.
