Archbishop Curley High School president named
Archbishop Lori appoints Jeremy Joseph as school’s next leader
BALTIMORE, MD, February 12, 2026 – Archbishop William E. Lori of Baltimore has appointed Mr. Jeremy Joseph as the new President of Archbishop Curley High School, following an extensive search conducted by the Archdiocese of Baltimore and the Archbishop Curley High School Board. Mr. Joseph, who currently serves as the school’s principal, will succeed President Father Donald Grzymski, OFM Conv. Father Grzymski announced in September 2025 his intention to retire at the end of the academic year. Mr. Joseph will officially begin his tenure as President on July 1, 2026.

“The search committee had the unenviable task of finding a replacement for the wonderfully successful and beloved Father Grzymski,” said Chancellor Greg Farno. “Fortunately for us, we have found a charismatic and effective successor who is an exemplary product of a Curley education as an alumnus and one who is passionate toward the traditions and vision for Archbishop Curley High School.”
“Archbishop Curley High School’s mission has shaped all that I am — spiritually, personally, and professionally,” said Mr. Joseph. “I am excited to share my dedication to this mission in this new leadership role as we work together to celebrate our Franciscan tradition and to advance our shared strategic vision for the future.”
Mr. Joseph, ’96, was appointed principal in 2021. He began his career at Curley in 2000 and in the past has served as the executive director of enrollment management & marketing, associate director of advancement, director of alumni and special events, and director of admissions.
“Jeremy is deeply rooted in the Franciscan mission that defines the school. Having served as his guidance counselor and witnessed his work at Curley, I can confidently say that he is a prime example that the Franciscan charism is caught — not taught. He has truly embraced and embodied the Franciscan spirit,” said Friar Michael Heine OFM Conv. Minister Provincial of Our Lady of the Angels Province Franciscan Friars Conventual.
Mr. Joseph graduated magna cum laude from Loyola University Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and earned his Master of Arts in Education with a concentration in Administration and Supervision, also from Loyola. He has earned certifications from the Maryland State Department of Education, including an Advanced Professional License in English 7-12 as well as Administration I and II endorsements.
