Annual Youth and Young Adult Pilgrimage in Baltimore set for April 16

More than 1,000 are expected for the annual Archdiocesan Youth and Young Adult Pilgrimage in Baltimore April 16. A special invitation is extended to young adults 18-35 to join their high school counterparts in the four-mile walk, billed as “Jesus – Way, Truth & Life.”

Registration begins at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Historical Site on Paca Street. Reconciliation and a rally will follow. The group will split into two, alternating visits to St. Alphonsus and the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will be at the Basilica.

A stop at War Memorial Plaza for a light meal, brought by participants, and praying of the rosary will follow. The pilgrimage ends with a blessing of the palms at St. Casimir Church in Canton. The Arizona-based Ike Ndolo Band will perform throughout.
