Free Stroke Seminar

In honor of National Stroke Awareness month, St. Agnes, Baltimore, will host a free seminar, “new Rehabilitation Advances in the Treatment of Stroke,” May 15.

Dr. Cornell Shelton and the staff from St. Agnes’ Department of Rehabilitation will discuss new treatment advances in balance and walking, driving and resumption of daily activities. Additionally, guests will be able to tour the hospital’s virtual community which gives patients an opportunity to receive physical rehabilitation using a “life simulation” environment and challenges them to improve their function and mobility.
