Almost all events submitted – if they are sponsored by a Catholic parish, school or other organization in the Archdiocese of Baltimore – will be featured in the online calendar.
A human monitor will approve submissions for posting.
Events submitted by the first of the month prior to the month of the event may be considered for the print edition of Catholic Review magazine (e.g., by Jan. 1 for publication in the February magazine). So that all entities in the archdiocese have a fair opportunity to be listed in the limited space in the print publication, entities will be limited to no more than two in each calendar month print edition. If more than two have been submitted, Catholic Review Media staff will decide which items to publish, at their discretion.

Friends Day of Prayer
Spirituality is our way of living in relationship with God. We recognize our spirituality from the outside in. Spirituality on the outside refers to practices where we reach out to God and God can reach us. When we turn to spiritual practices, we are opening ourselves to whatever influence these practices have on our relationship with God, and in turn, on how we live the rest of our lives. This Friends Day of Prayer will examine four practices — think, thank, pray, and love — that can enable us to sustain an intimacy with God through our own suffering and through our role of caring for those who are suffering.
All are welcome to attend the Friends Day of Prayer retreats, held monthly on the first Wednesday of the month. It is not required to attend every month, so register for one or more sessions as your schedule allows. While the presenters and topics vary, each Friends Day of Prayer typically includes pastries and informal conversation at 9:30am, a morning presentation at 10am, an optional Mass, a delicious lunch, short periods of free time to enjoy the grounds or shop in the bookstore, and an afternoon presentation. Guided by Rev. Rich Gula, P.S.S.
