Father, hear these prayers we make on behalf of your people.
You have appointed your Son Jesus Christ as eternal High Priest.
Guide those He has chosen as priests.
Help them to be faithful, to serve your people in love, conformed to his heart and following his example.
Raise up new vocations to serve the Church that your people may continue to know your fatherly care in baptism, your mercy in reconciliation, your comfort in anointing, and your great love in the Eucharist.
We ask all this and all prayers through Christ who is Lord forever and ever.
