A funeral Mass for Sinsinawa Dominican Sister Kathleen “Kaye” Ashe will be offered March 1 at Queen of the Rosary Chapel in Sinsinawa, Wis. Sister Kathleen died Feb. 15. She was 84.
A native of Chicago, Sister Kathleen entered her religious order in 1950.
She ministered as a teacher at St. Rose of Lima in Brooklyn from 1950 to 1953.
Following her ministry in the Archdiocese of Baltimore, Sister Kathleen served in Illinois, Wisconsin and California, as well as London; Fribourg, Switzerland; and Florence, Italy.
