Institute for Evangelization - Archdiocese of Baltimore

We strive to accompany parish leaders holistically so that they can “enliven the evangelizing work of the local Church” (LBV 2.0, 30).

The Institute for Evangelization is a new model for archdiocesan engagement with parishes as they plan the best approach for evangelization today.

Close collaboration among all the offices in the Institute for Evangelization will ensure that archdiocesan support for parishes is never “one-size fits all” but can adapt to the changing needs of parishes.

The Office of Parish Renewal exists to help parishes nurture a Christ-centered culture of evangelization and discipleship and build the healthy, mission-focused leadership structures that sustain it.

The Office of Divine Worship works closely with the Office of the Archbishop to prepare Archdiocesan liturgies that foster “full, conscious and active participation.”

The Office of Life, Justice and Peace supports efforts that bring about the common good, specifically, focusing on life and the dignity of the human person.

The Office of Family, Youth and Young Adult Ministry accompanies disciples in their personal and spiritual development across life stages.
