Archbishop Lori announces clergy assignments for June 2014

A new vicar general, rector for the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen, four pastors and a priest secretary for Archbishop William E. Lori are among 15 clergy assignments announced by the archbishop.
Father Louis A. Bianco
Father Bianco will become priest secretary to Archbishop Lori Sept. 1. Ordained in 2005, Father Bianco, 38, served as associate pastor at the cathedral from 2005 to 2009, when he was granted temporary leave. In 2011, he was named associate pastor of St. John, Westminster, where he served until 2012, when he was named associate pastor of St. Joseph, Fullerton. He has also been serving as temporary administrator of St. Isaac Jogues, Carney.
Monsignor Richard J. Bozzelli
Father Bozzelli will become pastor of St. Bernardine, Baltimore, July 1. Ordained in 1994, the 54-year-old served as associate pastor of Shrine of the Little Flower in Baltimore from 1994 to 1997, when he was named associate pastor of St. Louis, Clarksville. In 2000, he was named pastor of Corpus Christi in Bolton Hill. In 2010, Father Bozzelli was named pastor of the Catholic Churches of Glen Burnie: Church of the Crucifixion, Holy Trinity and Church of the Good Shepherd. He has been on sabbatical since July 2013.
Monsignor J. Bruce Jarboe
Monsignor Jarboe, 55, will become pastor of St. Ann, Hagerstown, Aug. 1. Ordained in 1986, he served as associate pastor of Immaculate Conception, Towson, 1986-1991, and St. Mark, Catonsville, 1991-1995. In 1995, he was named associate director of pastoral personnel services; in 1998, he became its director. After a half-year sabbatical in Rome, he became pastor of Holy Trinity, Glen Burnie, in 2003. His pastoral responsibilities in Glen Burnie extended to Church of the Crucifixion in 2004 and Church of the Good Shepherd in 2008. In 2010, he was named rector of the cathedral.
Father Christopher P. Moore
Father Moore, 63, will become pastor of St. Isaac Jogues, Carney, July 1. Ordained in 1977, he served as associate pastor of St. Joseph in Cockeysville until 1982, when he was named associate pastor of Holy Trinity, Glen Burnie. He served as associate pastor of St. Michael the Archangel in Overlea, 1987-92, when he was named pastor of St. Elizabeth of Hungary in Highlandtown. In 1998, he was named pastor of St. Joseph in Hagerstown, and since 2010 has also served as temporary administrator of St. Ann in Hagerstown.
Father Martin S. Nocchi
Father Nocchi will become pastor of St. Mary of the Assumption, Govans, Aug. 1. Ordained in 2004, the 42-year-old was associate pastor of St. Joseph in Fullerton until 2006, when he was named director of the Monsignor O’Dwyer Retreat House in Sparks. He has served as pastor of St. Ann in Hagerstown since 2010.
Monsignor Adam J. Parker
Monsignor Parker, 42, has been appointed vicar general and moderator of the curia, effective July 1. Ordained in 2000, Monsignor Parker served as associate pastor of St. Michael in Frostburg and St. Peter in Westernport from 2001 to 2005 when he was named administrator, and then pastor, of Church of the Ascension in Halethorpe. In 2007 he was named vice chancellor and priest secretary to now-Cardinal Edwin F. O’Brien, then archbishop of Baltimore, and in 2012 remained priest secretary for the cardinal’s new position, grand master of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem. In 2013, Monsignor Parker returned to the archdiocese as vice chancellor.
Monsignor Richard W. Woy
Monsignor Woy will become rector of the cathedral July 15. Ordained in 1979, the 61-year-old served as associate pastor of St. Philip Neri in Linthicum Heights from 1980 to 1986, when he was named associate pastor of St. Joseph, Fullerton. In 1992 he was named associate director of the archdiocese’s Office of Clergy Personnel, and became its director in 1995.
Monsignor Woy served as executive director of the Department of Management Services from 1998 to 2001, when he was named temporary administrator of St. Agnes in Catonsville. He was named chancellor of the archdiocese in 2002. In 2005 he became pastor of St. John the Evangelist in Severna Park and in 2008 was named vicar general and moderator of the curia for the archdiocese. In that role, he also serves as president of the board of the Cathedral Foundation, parent company of the Catholic Review.

Reverend Lawrence Adamczyk from special ministry to Associate Pastor of St. Mary Parish in Hagerstown. Effective July 1.
Reverend Warren Tanghe from Associate Pastor at Church of the Resurrection in Ellicott City to Associate Pastor of St. Mark Parish in Catonsville. Effective July 1.
Reverend Hector Mateus-Ariza from Associate Pastor at St. Ignatius Parish in Hickory to Associate Pastor of St. John the Evangelist Parish in Frederick. Effective July 1.
Reverend James Nirappel from Associate Pastor of St. Mary Parish in Hagerstown to Associate Pastor of Hagerstown area parishes of Saint Ann, Saint Joseph and St. Mary. Effective July 1.
