As Chancellor of Education, I have the distinct honor of serving the Archdiocese of Baltimore School System, which encompasses 59 elementary and high schools and is supported by 1,400 dedicated educators. Together, we nurture the academic and spiritual development of more than 24,000 students, guiding them to become confident, compassionate, knowledgeable, and faithful members of society.
We believe that each of us, as a child of God, possesses unique talents and inherent value. By instilling this belief in every child who steps through our doors, we help them grow into the fullest version of themselves. This is our true measure of success.
At the Archdiocese of Baltimore, we are home to the first Catholic parochial school in America. We take great pride in our rich Catholic history but also in the numerous achievements of today’s students. Our 97% graduation rate, outstanding national test scores, innovative STEAM programs, numerous sports accolades, and creative works of beauty in the fine and performing arts all stem from our core mission: to nurture the whole student in mind, body, and spirit.
Every child deserves an education that challenges the mind, forms their character, and nurtures their soul. In the Archdiocese of Baltimore, our Catholic schools are committed to helping students discover their God-given gifts. Our talented faculty and staff help develop the knowledge, skills, and virtues needed to thrive in this challenging world
I warmly invite you to explore the transformative impact a Catholic education can have on a child’s life. Our archdiocese is home to a diverse selection of schools, each with its own unique character, yet all united by the common mission of providing a Christ-centered education.
May God bless you and your family.
