Almost all events submitted – if they are sponsored by a Catholic parish, school or other organization in the Archdiocese of Baltimore – will be featured in the online calendar.
A human monitor will approve submissions for posting.
Events submitted by the first of the month prior to the month of the event may be considered for the print edition of Catholic Review magazine (e.g., by Jan. 1 for publication in the February magazine). So that all entities in the archdiocese have a fair opportunity to be listed in the limited space in the print publication, entities will be limited to no more than two in each calendar month print edition. If more than two have been submitted, Catholic Review Media staff will decide which items to publish, at their discretion.
Gather: Summer Harvest Dinner
August 13 @ 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm EDT
Event Navigation

Every summer, Little Portion Farm hosts a farm-to-table dinner to support and celebrate our work. This intimate gathering is an opportunity for us to enjoy the fruits of our labor and experience a true farm-to-table experience within the halls of the historic Carrollton Hall. All are welcome to join us for this celebratory evening overlooking our small portion of creation.
Guests enjoy a three-course meal created by Dignity Plates, the Franciscan Center of Baltimore‘s culinary academy, using fresh produce from Little Portion Farm and sustainably-raised meat from Mary’s Land Farm. Cocktail hour, preceding the sit-down meal, is held outside and features hand-crafted cocktails from Baltimore Spirits Co. including fresh ingredients from the farm. Dinner includes a special wine pairing from Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyard.
All proceeds from this event go to Little Portion Farm, to support our work caring for the Earth and growing food for people living with food insecurity. Since 2019, we have harvested and donated more than 130,000 pounds of fresh produce.
