Both Centesimus Annus Pro Pontifice & The Catholic University as well as The National Catholic Association of Diocesan Directors for Hispanic Ministry (NCADDHM) with USCCB are offering certificate programs in Catholic Social Teaching this fall. See the links below for more details.
This week-long, graduate level investigation of the Church’s deep patrimony of social teaching is open to diocesan administrators/department directors, and their staff, in Religious Education, Catholic Charities, Catholic Conference, Social Justice, and other ministries. It is also open to clergy, religious, seminarians and lay leaders in philanthropy, business, the professions, and academia who wish to have an in-depth understanding of the Church’s social teachings from noted scholars, theologians, and professionals.
Guided by prayer, discernment, and action, this formation deepens understanding of Catholic Social Teaching, promotes missionary discipleship and faithful citizenship, responds to the realities of the Hispanic/Latino community, cultivates emerging leaders, and puts faith into action through social justice and charitable works.
