On March 20, 2012, Pope Benedict XVI appointed Bishop William E. Lori of the Diocese of Bridgeport, Connecticut, the 16th Archbishop of Baltimore. Archbishop Lori succeeds Edwin Cardinal O’Brien, who was named Grand Master of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem on August 29, 2011. Archbishop Lori was installed as Archbishop of Baltimore May 16, 2012 at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen. |
