Nicholas DiGregory, a senior in the Mother of Divine Grace Homeschool program and a parishioner of St. Peter the Apostle in Libertytown, has been awarded the Father Michael Scanlan Scholarship, a full four-year scholarship, from Franciscan University of Steubenville.

DiGregory, who carries a 4.0 GPA, was asked to craft a written essay, interview before a panel of faculty, staff and religious and to participate in a group skit for the scholarship competition. The scholarship is named in honor of Chancellor Franciscan Father Michael Scanlan who served as president of Franciscan University for 26 years.
