The Duo Ingolfsson-Steupel Present A Concert for the Baltimore Community

Baltimore, MD (St. Mary’s Seminary & University)—The Duo Ingolfsson-Steupel will present a concert in St. Mary’s Chapel at St. Mary’s Seminary & University on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 (see specifics below). The Duo is Judith Ingolfsson-Violin and Viola | Vladimir Stoupel-Piano. They will present works by César Franck, Camille Saint-Saëns, and others. The concert is free and open to the public, but registration is requested due to limited capacity. See www.stmarys.edu/duo-concert for information and registration.   • Paul Juon: Sonata for Viola and Piano Op. 15
  • César Franck: Sonata in A Major for Violin and Piano
  • Camille Saint-Saëns: “Introduction et Rondo Capriccioso” for Violin and Piano Op. 28

Engaging and imaginative programming is a hallmark of the Duo Ingolfsson-Stoupel. Individually they are seasoned soloists who have won acclaim for their performances across the globe. Together they create connections, tell untold stories, and take audiences on a journey to the heart of chamber music.

The Duo regularly participates in renowned concert series and festivals throughout the world and has recorded eight critically acclaimed CDs. The Duo is in residence at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University and is on the Performing Artist Touring Roster of the Maryland State Arts Council.

This performance is supported by the Maryland State Arts Council.

It is part of the St. Mary’s Friends & Neighbors Series.
