Baltimore Symphony Concert

409 Cathedral St., Baltimore; 7 p.m.; Baltimore Symphony brass and percussion concert for the community benefiting My Sister’s Place Women’s Center, Baltimore City’s longest serving women’s day shelter, which provides three meals a day, job training, counseling and other essential services that assist women and children who are experiencing poverty and homelessness; James Ross, director of Orchestral Activities at the University of Maryland will conduct; features brass and percussion musicians from the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra along with special guests from: Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Pittsburgh Opera Players, National Symphony, Philadelphia Orchestra and Semper Fi Brass; no ticket or registration needed, open seating; donations are welcome and benefit Catholic Charities’ My Sister’s Place
