Red & Blue Mass St. Joseph Monastery

Every hour of every day throughout the Archdiocese of Baltimore, our first responders are on duty to protect and serve – and they often do so under thankless and perilous conditions. To honor their steadfast commitment and implore God’s blessing upon them, Archbishop William E. Lori will celebrate a special Blue & Red Mass at 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 23 at St. Joseph Monastery, 3801 Old Frederick Road, Baltimore. Please join us.

Our Blue & Red Mass is an opportunity to honor our law enforcement officers, firefighters, paramedics and all emergency responders, both retired and in active duty. All are welcome, regardless of their faith tradition. First responders are encouraged to wear their uniforms, and they are invited to bring their family and friends.

We will also pray for those who have been gravely injured or lost their lives in the line of duty.

The Blue & Red Mass is a celebration that provides us the chance to offer our gratitude to the courageous men and women who serve with integrity and virtue as they risk their lives on our behalf, day in and day out.
