Why did Bush have blessing?

I’m a Catholic and I believe that abortion is a horrible crime, but I have to agree with our critics, who say that when it comes to the sacredness of life, it seems that for Catholics, the only lives that matter are the ones of the unborn babies.

There is a great uproar against Notre Dame these days, because of the invitation to President Obama to speak at their commencement exercises.

When it was President Bush’s turn to speak at Notre Dame, everybody was pleased. Yet President Bush is very much for capital punishment; worst of all, President Bush, under false pretense, with great arrogance and in defiance of our allies, started the war in Iraq. He sent our troops to kill and be killed, to bomb, maim and destroy everything in their path … but President Bush had everyone’s blessings. I don’t get it.
