Sister Mary Sperantia Kosakowski, C.S.S.F., dies

A funeral Mass for Sister Mary Sperantia Kosakowski, C.S.S.F., was offered Aug. 1 at the Felician Sisters’ Infirmary Chapel, Our Lady of Lourdes Hall, NJ. Sister Mary Sperantia died July 28, she was 96.

Sister Sperantia made first religious vows in 1933 and professed final vows in 1939. A teacher and administrator on the elementary level, Sister Sperantia taught at Holy Rosary in Baltimore from 1969-1970. She also ministered in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
