Unseemly partners in minimum wage issue

In the minimum wage debate, I cannot support the Archdiocese of Baltimore standing silently with political leaders who advocate late term abortion and gay marriage. “Winners, losers in minimum wage debate” was almost balanced, but I don’t expect a balanced view, I expect a Catholic view, which I’m seeing less of.
Why in the world would Bishop Denis J. Madden or any church leader stand with the likes of Governor Martin O’Malley and Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake? Both have actively fought against the church through their ability to legislate and control the vote. While they and other lawmakers, many who are professed Catholics, have pressed their evil agendas, the church, for all appearance, has fallen on its face in the presence of this omnipresent, political malevolence.
As for the minimum wage: Why not $20.10 an hour?
