St. Louis School honors spark fond memories

What a wonderful institution St. Louis School in Clarksville is – to be named a Blue Ribbon School (CR, Sept. 16) and to have Linda Wilson as a longtime teacher. Wilson is an extraordinary elementary school teacher, as her legion of former and current students will attest.

She taught art and science when I was in the first grade at Holy Family School in Randallstown. Thank goodness for Wilson’s gentleness and warmth. She helped this frightened student enjoy the first grade, and I am fortunate to have been taught by her. Thanks to The Catholic Review for recognizing one of the Archdiocese of Baltimore’s unsung heroes.
