St. Agnes Hospital names nurse of the year

During National Nurses’ Week, St. Agnes Hospital has named Angela Keppley, R.N., its 2008 Nurse of the Year. Ms. Keppley is a nurse in one of the hospital’s medical/surgical units and a parishioner of St. Clement, Lansdowne.

She received recognition at the annual Nurse of the Year awards ceremony after being chosen from a group of nominees for her skill and proficiency in categories of professional practice, meeting patient needs, providing compassionate care, and dedication to the mission, vision, and core values of the hospital.

A team leader of the Catonsville resident praised the winner. “Angela’s positive attitude is what makes her stand out,” said Judy Saulsbury, R.N. “Her knowledge and nursing expertise paired with her optimistic outlook on life serves as an example to other nurses everywhere.”
