Sister Mary Cabrini Daulizio, R.S.M., dies

A funeral mass for Religious Sister of Mercy Mary Cabrini Daulizio was held Jan. 22 at Mercy Villa Chapel in Towson. Sister Mary Cabrini, 91, died Jan. 19.
Born in Homerville, Pa., she worked for the U.S. Government during World War II, and joined the Mercy community in Baltimore in 1949. Educated at Mount St. Agnes College in Mount Washington, she taught in Baltimore at St. Peter School, 1952-53; St. Bernard School, 1956-57; and Immaculate Heart of Mary School in Baynesville, 1962-63. Her ministry of education also took her to Bethesda and Clinton in Maryland; Washington, D.C.; Alabama, and Georgia.
Sister Mary Cabrini later worked at Stella Maris Hospice. She lived with fellow Sisters of Mercy in Hampden until retiring to Mercy Villa Retirement Home.
