Sister Margaret Mary (Peggy) Keegan, S.S.N.D.

A funeral Mass for School Sister of Notre Dame Margaret Mary (Peggy) Keegan was held June 19 at Villa Assumpta in Baltimore. Sister Peggy died June 14. She was 81.
A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., Sister Peggy was a sister for 60 years, first using the religious name Mary Auxilia. She was a teacher in Camden, N.J., for 18 years before teaching and serving as a librarian at several Baltimore schools: St. Matthew School, 1971-1977 and 1980-1986; Archbishop Keough High School, April to September 1978; and St. Michael and Holy Rosary Schools, September 1978 to January 1979. From 1987 to 1991, Sister Peggy served at Loyola Notre Dame Library. She retired to Villa Assumpta in 1991.
