Sister Elizabeth Grannan, S.P., dies

A funeral Mass was to be offered for Sister Elizabeth Grannan June 6 at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in St. Mary-of-the-Woods, Ind. Sister Elizabeth, who entered the Sisters of Providence in 1952 and was given the religious name of Sister Ellen Ann, died May 30. She was 81.

Sister Elizabeth taught at Ascension School in Halethorpe from 1959 to 1961. The Indiana native also served in Illinois and her home state.
