Sister Carmela Melucci, M.P.F., dies at 84.

A funeral Mass for Sister Carmela Melucci, a member of the Religious Teachers Filippini, was offered Sept. 13 at St. Lucy Chapel, Villa Walsh, in Morristown, N.J. Sister Carmela died Sept. 11. She was 84.

Born in Muro Lucano, Italy, Sister Carmela entered the Religious Teachers Filippini in 1948, arriving in the United States soon after. She taught in Catholic schools in several states, serving at Our Lady of Pompeii High School in Baltimore from 1961-64.
